Person stands at entrance of house to stare down globe walking across lawn, blatantly ignoring the existing paved path to the door.
Person: Hey! How about using the bloody sidewalk just once!? It’s just a figure of speech, after all!! (wouldn’t mind beating a path to your face, grumble, grumble...)
